Fritz and Franz Bierhaus, a new restaurant and sports bar, is well-known restaurateur Harald Neuweg’s latest contribution to the city’s dining and nightlife scene. Returning to his German/Austrian roots, Neuweg has transformed the restaurant and bar into a wood-paneled Bierstube, with a wide variety of Austrian and German brews, plus popular American beers. The wait staff, clad in custom-made lederhosen, will enliven the friendly atmosphere with informal dance numbers on the sturdy benches. Neuweg is offering authentic German food that includes schnitzel, sausages, roast chicken and salads. The menu remains unchanged for lunch, dinner and late-night service, with most items available in both tapas-sized and regular portions.
