To empower families with young children, in which a parent has been diagnosed with cancer, through resources and information, to better address medical, psychological and administrative challenges. To share Lauren's love through Lauren's Light, enabling Lauren's essence to continue to shine, comfort and inspire. Lauren's Light was founded in 2002 by Lauren's husband, Anthony Millin, and Lauren's parents, Malvina and Ben Feinswog. Lauren's fight with cancer began when the disease was discovered during an emergency C-Section with her second child. Her son Matthew was born premature but healthy, but Lauren passed a few months later. As Lauren's family went through the battle with cancer they learned that, although there are many resources for people with cancer, very little targets the unique needs of families with young children. Lauren's Light is dedicated to providing services that these families need, in one multidisciplinary resource.
