Words and Wonders by Marie Whitman
191 NE 40th Street, Moore Bldg. 3d floor
Performance Artist and Writer Marie Whitman pulls her original poems off the page and breathes them to life. Marie weaves theatrical threads of spoken word, movement, humor and heart and offers live vignettes of rhythm and rhyme. She poetically ponders our quick, click and drag, celebrity crazed days in “Consumer” and then taunts and testifies, questioning the big guy in the sky in “Grace Says.” April is National Poetry Month, so come get a deliciously unique dose! www.MarieWhitman.com
