In honor of its 40th Anniversary, Jordan Vineyard & Winery brought together nearly 200 local tastemakers, wine lovers, art aficionados and local artists for the 4 on 4 Top 25, held at the Bakehouse Art Complex on March 29. The one-night-only public exhibition and Jordan wine tasting presented the top 25 pieces entered into the 4 on 4 Miami Art Competition, an inventive art competition event awarding $8,000 in cash to local artists.

The panel of expert judges included Roxanne Vargas, co-anchor of NBC Miami’s “Live Miami;” Nina Johnson, director at Gallery Diet; Susanne Birbragher, associate publisher of ArtNexus; Chef Michael Schwartz, proprietor of Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink; and Lauren Wagner, director of exhibitions at Bakehouse Art Complex.

The winners: Jordan Wine Goddess by artist and graphic designer Jeannette Aquino took first prize. First runner-up honors went to Casey Mae Wright’s Guard on Duty. Gerry Stecca’s Thru the Vines took home the second-runner up.
