Based on Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew,” “The Cuban Vote” draws you into the middle of Carolina and Alex’s quest for the Miami mayorship … and each other. A romantic political comedy that can only happen in Miami turns into “tremendo arroz con mango,” and all for the coveted Cuban vote. They say all is fair in love and war, but nothing is fair in love and politics.
