Renee Lopez-Cantera is the senior vice president of sales and marketing at EKN Solutions, leading development, strategy and marketing initiatives to enhance her client’s growth in online sales. Lopez-Cantera is also a dedicated community activist, working primarily to support organizations helping children and families. She serves as an executive board member of Mindful Kids Miami, the New World School of the Arts, and the Hebrew Free Loan Association. She is also an active committee member of the United Way Women’s Committee and Big Brothers Big Sisters LBSF Scholarship Committee. She is an Executive Board Member of Code Art Circle of Ambassadors working to increase gender and racial diversity in computer science by providing underserved girls with full scholarships. Lopez-Cantera is co-chairing the LBSF Big Brothers Big Sisters event to fundraise for College Scholarships again in 2024. Lopez-Cantera has also previously served as an advisory board member for the University of Miami Marketing Department, and the University of Miami Department of Computing and is a member of the Iron Arrow Society.
In the corporate and tech arena, she currently serves as a board member to a few start-up companies and has been awarded several awards for her community service and was a recipient of the distinguished Knight Foundation scholarship for Women in Tech held by the Commonwealth Forum.
She lives in Miami with her husband and two daughters. She has an undergraduate degree at Tulane University and MBA at the University of Miami with specialties in Marketing and Finance.
