The 13th Annual FedEx/St. Jude Angels and Stars Gala promises to be another amazing fundraising experience that will bring together a large mix of celebrities, professionals, philanthropists and prominent members of the community. They will all walk the red carpet in support of the children of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Our gala guests will enjoy a wonderful event as popular television personality Don Francisco is honored. In previous years, St. Jude gala attendees have not only enjoyed a wonderful event, but also entertainment by some of the most recognized Latin singers in honor of the children of St. Jude. The gala has also honored some of the most recognized and celebrated artists in Latin music and entertainment for their humanitarian work, such as Romero Britto, Juanes, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Tommy and Thalia Mottola, Chef Adrianne Calvo and Coach Don Shula. This year’s gala will offer guests an equally spectacular experience!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas, is one of the world’s premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. Children from all 50 states and from around the world have come through the doors of St. Jude for treatment, and thousands more around the world have benefited from the research conducted at St. Jude – research that is shared freely with the global medical community.
St. Jude is internationally recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude is the first and only pediatric cancer center to be designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute. Founded by late entertainer Danny Thomas and based in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude freely shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world. St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No child is ever denied treatment because of the family’s inability to pay. St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fundraising organization. In 2010, St. Jude was ranked the most trusted charity in the nation in a public survey conducted by Harris Interactive, a highly respected international polling and research firm.
