Social Eyes

To prepare your glamourous page for Social Eyes we will need:

  • Between 15 and 20 photos featuring your supporters and committee members. PLEASE NOTE, PHOTO FILE NAMES MUST IDENTIFY SUBJECTS APPEARING. For example, if the photo features Bob Smith and Judy Smith, the submitted file must be named “Bob and Judy Smith.jpeg.” In order to accurately identify your supporters, we won’t publish photos without this naming format.
  • SOCIALMIAMI PUBLISHES YOUR CAPTIONS EXACTLY HOW YOU SEND THEM. In order to keep prices low for all non-profits, we must charge an editing fee of $375 to organizations requesting we change more than five captions after you’ve submitted them.
  • Dropbox is the best way to send photos. PLEASE DO NOT SEND PHOTOS EMBEDDED IN A DOCUMENT OR PDF FILE. They do not publish as clear.
  • Your lead photo for the piece to now appear in the Gala Guide, this photo must be 1000 by 700 pixels.
  • Text describing the event, the chairs, the sponsors, the donors, the tastes the sounds. Your regular press release is fine. If you’re creating the text for us, 250 to 500 words is fine. SocialMiami editors reserve the right to edit the material to adhere to the outlet’s guidelines.
  • You may request one or two photos to take the lead. Again, to keep prices low for all non-profits, we must charge an additional $375 for those requesting all photos appear in a specific order.

Please review your submission carefully.

In order to keep costs low for all of our non-profits, we publish your submission exactly – we do not make any decisions except with edits to your text so it fits our editorial policy. SocialMiami will gladly make minor changes to your original materials in one round of editing.
However, if you must revise your captions, texts or photos, we must impose an editing fee of $275. Most organizations do not require this, so to keep prices low for non-profits, we do not include it in the original price. This fee will be charged for each round of edits.

Materials submitted for publication become the property of SocialMiami.com and won’t be returned. They’ll be used as SocialMiami deems appropriate. We may share them with other media outlets at our discretion.
