14th Annual Dinner Meeting and Awards
The 2014-2016 Executive Board of Jewish Community Services was installed at JCS’ 14th Annual Meeting held at Temple Israel. New members included Dan Jacobson, Chair; Helen Chaset and Abe Rudman, Vice Chairs; Johnathan Raife, Treasurer; Scott Singer, Secretary; and new member Alex Tachmes. The dinner also honored the Sheryl Greenwald & Sam Berman Charitable Foundation with the JCS Community Partner Award; while the Minyan Group of Young Israel of Aventura received JCS’ Helping Hands Award, for their invaluable assistance in JCS’ efforts to annually serve more 25,000 people throughout Miami-Dade. Sam Silverstein, author of “No More Excuses,” delivered the keynote address.
