The 15th Annual Torch Awards Charity Gala will honor this year’s 16 most outstanding recipients – alumni and faculty who have made a significant impact on their profession, community and the university. The gala focuses its efforts on raising funds for the Alumni Center Building Fund, as well as the First Generation Scholarship Fund, allowing dozens of students the opportunity to have the financial burden of education lifted from their shoulders. This year, join the university in celebrating a milestone in Torch Awards history, its 15th anniversary.
The black-tie event will feature fine dining, dancing and live entertainment. It is co-chaired by proud FIU alumni Eduardo & Francis Hondal and will honor the following recipients:
