Social Snapshot: Frances Aldrich Sevilla-Sacasa
Frances Aldrich Sevilla-Sacasa is a Miami native has served as co-chair of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s gala and Fairchild’s Splendor in the Garden luncheon for several years. She is currently Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart and on the board of St. Thomas University in Miami and the Foreign Policy Association in NYC and is an emeritus member of University of Miami’s President’s Council.
Sevilla-Sacasa also serves on boards of nationally recognized and publicly traded corporations including as Camden Property Trust, a national real estate investment trust, and Callon Petroleum, an oil and natural gas company. She is also on the board of Delaware Funds by Macquarie, a family of over 75 mutual funds managed by Macquarie Investment Management.
Sevilla-Sacasa had a long career in financial services with executive positions at firms such as Bankers Trust Company, Deutsche Bank, Citibank, U.S. Trust Company, Bank of America and Banco Itau. More recently she was president and chief executive officer of U.S. Trust Company, president of Bank of America Private Wealth Management, and chief executive officer of Banco Itau International. Sevilla-Sacasa also served as interim dean of University of Miami’s School of Business.
Frances holds a B.A. from The University of Miami, an MBA in International Management from The Thunderbird School of Global Management and she speaks Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Sevilla-Sacasa has been married to Ryder System executive Gene Sevilla-Sacasa for over 35 years. They live in Coral Gables and have three children.
