The American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association will celebrate more than four decades of success, refined history and widespread recognition at the 2012 Miami Heart & Stroke Ball on March 10 at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami. This annual gala holds a place in the local spotlight as one of the most continuous and prestigious charity events in South Florida.
Co-chairing the 2012 ball will be George and Marla Bergmann of Bergmann Properties, Michele Chulick of UHealth and Ian Pesses of Akerman Senterfitt.
This elegant, black-tie affair will bring together members of the Miami Heart Society to celebrate their efforts throughout the year to raise funds, build passion and save lives. The Heart & Stroke Ball will begin at 6:30 with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner and program at 8 p.m. Proceeds raised will benefit the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association.
