A highlight of Miami’s social philanthropic scene, the 2012 Be A Voice Gala will take place on Saturday, January 14, and will be hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Mandarin Oriental, Miami. The cocktail reception and silent auction will start at 7 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing.
Voices For Children’s annual Be A Voice Gala attracts 500 of South Florida’s most prominent and active community leaders to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of those who advocate for Miami-Dade’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children. This year Voices For Children honors Paul and Swanee Dimare, influential community leaders and inspiring philanthropists.
Each year guests enjoy fabulous food, beautiful décor, wonderful entertainment, and are witness to a testimonial demonstrating the importance and impact of Voices For Children Foundation and the Guardian ad Litem Program.

Voices For Children Foundation, founded in 1984, raises funds to ensure that every abused and neglected child in Miami-Dade County has a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial assistance and other resources are available for their accompanying health, educational, and social needs.
