The Cancer Support Community Greater Miami (CSCGM), raised more than $206,000 net at the 2013 Heart & Star Award Dinner, emceed by Emmy Award-winning CBS4 Anchor, Cynthia Demos. Close to 400 business and philanthropic leaders from South Florida came to Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest to honor John Arasi, Champion of the Community Spirit Award recipient, Briana Vega, Champion of the Human Spirit Award recipient and Dr. Richard Zakheim, Founder’s Award recipient.
