On May 21, 2016, the American Heart Association will celebrate the Annual Miami Heart & Stroke Ball, one of the city’s most prominent charity events, at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami.
The Miami Heart & Stroke Ball is a prestigious black-tie gala that celebrates the organization’s mission and success in “building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.” For nearly 50 years, the Miami Heart & Stroke Ball has promoted the mission of the American Heart Association on a local level, and, thanks to its donors’ support, the organization has seen breakthrough advances in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
With a fundraising goal of one million dollars, the organization’s mission will be celebrated and showcased among key community influencers in the social, medical and business fields across South Florida.
Chairing this year’s campaign is Maria L. Shojaee, MBA. In partnership with the Executive Leadership Cabinet and the 2016 sponsors of the Miami Heart & Stroke Ball, the American Heart Association will continue the fight against heart-and stroke-related illnesses.
