Benefiting The Humane Society of Greater Miami
Close to 500 of Miami’s most prominent luminaries enjoyed cocktails donated by Bacardi, USA, assorted wines donated by Cherry Tart Wines and noshed on an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres while perusing the amazing silent auction, which featured a stunning Chopard watch and many other “must have” items. Doggies were treated to a “Bark Bar” provided by Purina and a “Pup”tail Lounge by Doggie Bag Café and their humans dined on a five-star sit down dinner and a purely decadent dessert buffet. Wildlife expert, Ron Magill, opened the show for the biggest treat of all: the unique “Great Pets who Walk in Front of Great People” runway show, emceed by two award winning journalists, Cynthia Demos and CBS4 evening anchor, Eliott Rodriguez. Topping off the evening was a spectacular performance by the famous Olate Dogs, 2012 winner of America’s Got Talent show. It was a truly magical night with six dogs finding their forever families and more than $500,000 raised to help the homeless dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Greater Miami!
