Plaza Health Network Foundation’s 8th Annual Woman of Distinction & Caring Luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 16th, at the Hilton Miami Downtown.
Festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a champagne reception and silent auction, along with the Sunburst Society Boutiques and Kendra Scott Wall of Treasures. Included in the auction are a week’s stay at a Jamaican Resort, as well as a private tour of the Capitol Building with our very own Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, one of the 2017 honorees. Joining Ileana are Terry Buoniconti, Dorothy Jenkins Fields, Shelley Nicely Groff, Ana VeigaMilton, Terri Shikany and Dr. Grace Wang.
Lunch and the celebration of the seven exceptional Women of Distinction & Caring begin at 12:30 p.m. Diana Gonzalez, Director of Communications at City of Miami and 2008 Woman of Distinction & Caring, will emcee the program.
Proceeds from this year’s luncheon will support the development of patient-centered programs that are above and beyond the basics covered by Medicare, Medicaid and insurances. These programs include the “Music & Memory” Program for patients with diminished cognitive skills and dementia, and our new “Virtual Family Reunion” system which allows patients to connect with up to 40 friends and family members worldwide!
Tickets start at $150 per person, and sponsorship opportunities are available.
