Actor’s Playhouse will celebrate a Milestone Season with its 25th Anniversary Gala Bash at the InterContinental Hotel Miami on April 7, 2013. Actors’ Playhouse is a Florida Presenting Cultural Organization and one of 22 major cultural institutions in Miami-Dade County. A producer of critically acclaimed dramatic and musical theatre, the company has received 75 Carbonell Awards, the prestigious symbol of top quality regional theatre in South Florida, for artistic excellence and was also named South Florida’s Theatre Company of the Year for overall season excellence and community outreach.

The spirited soiree will feature an extraordinary celebration with friends and supporters, lively entertainment, a delectable dinner provided by the Intercontinental Hotel Miami and cocktails courtesy of Bacardi U.S.A. and Premier Beverage Company. While temptations abound, guests will have the chance to win exclusive live and silent auction items up for bid. A special guest performance by the cast of the hit Broadway musical In The Heights will highlight the evening.

About Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre

Actors’ Playhouse is the equity nonprofit resident theatre company and managing agent of the historic Miracle Theatre. Under the leadership of Founding Executive Producing Director Barbara S. Stein and Artistic Director David Arisco, Actors’ Playhouse has brought home 63 regional Carbonell Awards for artistic excellence; six for the musical Les Miserables which won Best Production of a Musical and Best Director.
