One of the most anticipated events of the year, Gala in the Garden at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, celebrates the achievements made throughout the year and the people that generously support Fairchild’s growth. The black-tie event brings together notable philanthropists in South Florida and beyond for an evening of fun and festivity, and proceeds will go towards supporting Fairchild’s science, education and conservation initiatives. The gala is co-chaired by Swanee DiMare and Frances Sevilla-Sacasa with Joyce Burns serving as Philanthropic Chair, and will take place on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 6:30 p.m.

This year’s Gala is themed “Garden Galaxy” in honor of Fairchild’s partnership with NASA as well as Fairchild’s 80th Anniversary. The evening will kick off with a cocktail reception and silent auction in the Adam R. Rose and Peter R. McQuillan Arts Center and end with a gourmet dinner prepared by LeBasque. No evening is complete without live music and dancing under the stars, all while surrounded by Fairchild’s lush tropics.

Individual tickets start at $1,000, and tables for ten can be reserved for $10,000. Corporate sponsorships start at $25,000. To purchase tickets, please contact Susannah Shubin at SShubin@FairchildGarden.org or call 305-667-1651, Ext. 3375. For more information, please visit www.FairchildGarden.org/Gala.
