The American Red Cross Ball has been established as one of South Florida’s premier and most prestigious social fundraising events. 2014 marks the 32nd year of the American Red Cross Ball which was started in 1982 by a group of socially prominent women volunteers. Their tradition continues today with a committee of dedicated women who work tirelessly toward fulfilling the mission of the American Red Cross.
Attended by more than 440 prominent and dynamic leaders of the South Florida social and corporate communities, the Red Cross Ball has consistently been the most successful fundraising event for the Red Cross South Florida Region. This upscale evening gets under way with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m., followed by dinner at 8:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy exquisite food, elegant décor, music and dancing. This year’s Red Cross Ball chairs are Barbara & Jose Hevia.
In 2013, over $540,000 was raised for the vital life-saving programs and services of the American Red Cross South Florida Region.
Individual tickets are $600 per seat, and sponsorships are available, ranging from $6,000 to $100,000. For sponsorships and information, contact Kenia Tedesco at 305-728-2512 or by emailing Kenia.Tedesco@RedCross.org.
