33rd Annual Twelve Good Men Luncheon
RMHC South Florida’s signature event celebrated twelve distinguished honorees while raising critical support for families in need.
South Florida’s most influential business and community leaders gathered together on May 1 as Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida hosted its 33rd Annual Twelve Good Men Luncheon in Miami. The signature event brought together over 455 supporters to celebrate 12 distinguished men whose leadership, philanthropy, and dedication to community continue to make a lasting impact across the region.
The luncheon raised an impressive $430,000 to support RMHC South Florida’s mission of providing families with critically ill children a comforting home away from home near the hospital, complete with lodging, meals, and compassionate care. Since its founding, the event has honored nearly 400 exceptional men and raised close to $3 million for the organization, which has served more than 30,000 families since 1982.
One of the afternoon’s most anticipated moments was the iconic “Honoree Catwalk,” hosted by Calvin Hughes, who returned for his ninth year as Master of Ceremonies. As each honoree walked the runway to applause and celebration, they were presented with a floral tribute symbolizing the gratitude of the thousands of families whose lives have been touched by RMHC South Florida.
The 2026 honorees represented a remarkable cross-section of South Florida leadership and included Carlos L. Martinez, Charles O. Morgan Jr., David Evensky, David Lawrence Jr., Efrain Valdez Jr., Gabriel A. Valle, George Elmore, Jeff Lozama, Jose Antonio Perez Helguera, Juan Chipoco, Tony Guerra, and Wayne Brackin.
