At the 3rd Annual All Star Awards Luncheon, presented by the Miami Dolphins, Switchboard of Miami will celebrate and award the non-profit organizations in Miami-Dade County that work tirelessly to help our community. Held at Jungle Island on October 17, over 500 community leaders, corporate funders, individual donors, non-profit board and staff members and community volunteers will come together to honor the true “All Stars” of South Florida and celebrate all of the non-profits for their outstanding achievements.
Nominations have been submitted and scored by Switchboard’s guest judges based on the non-profits’ community involvement and a variety of criteria. Last year’s recipients include Chapman Partnership, Farm Share, Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, RJT Foundation, Better Florida Foundation, Fatherhood Task Force and Mentoring Valuable Proteges.

With more than 15 specialty phone lines, Switchboard offers free and confidential telephone counseling, crisis intervention, suicide prevention and information and referral services to every caller, chatter or texter 24/7.
