Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s most stylish event of the year is back! The 8th Annual Splendor in the Garden fashion show and luncheon will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Fairchild is collaborating with Neiman Marcus Coral Gables to present a fabulous spring runway show curated by Neiman Marcus’s renowned fashion director, Ken Downing. This fashion-forward event combines fashion and philanthropy and attracts over 400 guests. It is sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables and Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay and is co-chaired by Swanee DiMare and Frances Sevilla-Sacasa. Proceeds will benefit Fairchild’s programs in education, science and conservation.
Guests will be treated to garden tours during the reception, followed by a gourmet lunch and Spring 2019 fashion show. Following the fashion show, the 2019 Fairchild Philanthropy Awards will be presented to this year’s Honorees, who are chosen for their dedication to supporting the Garden and the South Florida community. Runway looks will be available for purchase after the event at the Backstage Boutique.
