The Beastkeeper VIP Kick Off Event will take place at the private residence of Irene and Chris Korge on Saturday, January 28, 2012, from 7 to 11 p.m. Co-chairs Irene Korge and Norma Jean Abraham will welcome guests to enjoy open bars, restaurant fare, live entertainment, and exotic animal encounters from Zoo Miami.

Exquisite fare will be served from fine restaurants. Last year’s participants included Caffe Abbracci, Smith & Wollensky, Zucchero-Ristorante Bistro, La Bottega, and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, just to name a few. A silent auction awaits guests’ bids on items that include signed sports memorabilia, weekend getaways and hotel stays, designer handbags, jewelry, and much more.

Admission to the Beastkeeper VIP Kick-Off Party also includes entry to the main event, Feast With The Beasts, on Friday, March 2, 2012, at Zoo Miami. All proceeds will benefit the Zoological Society of Florida. VIP Tickets are $500 each. Tickets for the main event are $175 each. There is also a $225 ticket level, which provides entry into the VIP Cocktail Reception and early entrance at 7 p.m., followed by the main event.

For nearly 25 years, the Zoological Society has captivated South Florida with its annual Feast With The Beasts to benefit wildlife conservation and education at Zoo Miami. Featuring tasty bites from 40 top local restaurants, 8 open bars, enchanting entertainment, wild animals and more, Feast With The Beasts has become one of the most highly anticipated events of South Florida’s social season while raising critical funds for education and wildlife conservation efforts at Zoo Miami.

Zoo Miami is located at 12400 S.W. 152nd Street; Miami, FL 33177. General Zoo Admission is: $15.95/adult, plus tax and $11.95/child (3-12) plus tax.
