RAM
Miami City Ballet
RAM = Representational Artists Movement, founded by Bruce and Leslie Allen (Bruce Allen Gallery, 17 N.W. 36th Street, Miami). The 63,000 square foot Miami City Ballet headquarters with eight rehearsal studios, where normally you would see dancers preparing for performances, was transformed into an art experience. Visitor were involved immediately upon entering with atmospheric lighting, visual projections, living sculpture, vignettes and juxtaposed art objects, murals, 3-dimensional trompe l’oeil, and life-sized sculptures.
