Women’s Stories Make Miracles at Opera Gallery
At Opera Gallery’s opening reception of Women’s Stories, director Bernard Markowicz toasted Margaux’s Miracle Foundation and pledged that a percentage of the evening’s sales would benefit the charity. The comprehensive exhibit featured the work of over twenty internationally acclaimed masters and emerging contemporary painters and sculptors, who have chosen women as their subject matter. Guests enjoyed Perfect Vodka and viewed the original paintings, silkscreens, and sculptures and saw how artists use humor, imagery, drama, sexuality and reverence to define their interpretations of women.
