Mana Contemporary Kicks Off Miami Art Week 2015

Mana Contemporary hosted 500 guests for a VIP preview dinner to inaugurate its 2015 Miami Art Week programming. The elegant evening was hosted by Moishe Mana, Eugene Lemay, Jorge Pérez, Billie Milam Weisman, and Serge Tiroche. Special guests included Ed Ruscha, Carlos Garaicoa and Eduardo Basualdo. Guests enjoyed a special performance by the Miami Symphony Orchestra led by conductor Eduardo Marturet and featuring pianist Lola Astanova. Following the dinner, three of the world’s top modern art collections were available for preview, as well as to the recently completed 140,000 square foot Mana Wynwood Convention Center.
Exhibitions open to the public from December 3-6 include: Made in California: Selections from the Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation, A Sense of Place: Selections from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, and Everything you are I am not: Latin American Art from the Tiroche DeLeon Collection.
