In just two weeks, the Miami Children’s Museum will host its Be a Kid Again gala, this year with the theme “Leap into the Future,” named for both the February 29th date and the young lives it educates and serves. Afterward, it’s the “Play After Dark After Party” fueled by young professionals, meaning philanthropists of all ages can join the fun and support the organization.
“It’s so exciting to be part of this occasion,” says Laurie Riemer, the event chair who first in 2004 bestowed the gala with the “Be a Kid Again” name. “Like the children here, it’s a pleasure to see how this organization has grown into a pillar of the community. So many outstanding Miamians will be here next week to support the bilingual, interactive exhibits and our interactive galleries.”
