Informed Families’ Annual Dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab
Commissioner Sally Heyman to Serve as the 35th Chair
2021, Charity & Social Events, Gala GuideInformed Families announces Commissioner Sally Heyman had been named the 35th Chair of the Informed Families’ Annual Dinner at Joe’s Stone Crab. The dinner is held the first or second Monday in May, 2021 depending on the Stone Crab season. With the pandemic, it’s anticipated there will be both in person dinning and a virtual option.
In 1986, the first Dinner Chairmen were Dorothy and Don Shula. Informed Families, founded in 1982, needed an annual fun fundraiser; the committee said: ”Let’s do something different!” The idea of Joe’s was an instant hit. The organization created the TAG LINE: “WE KNOW HOW TO GET IN JOE’S WITHOUT WAITING IN LINE” and combined it with limited seating and NO SPEECHES, so the event became an instant success.
Commissioner Heyman has years of experience working the Joe’s event. She is the head Maître d extraordinaire. With only 54 tables available, she urges you to get your reservation in early! For an early reservation, call: (305) 856-4886.
