6th Annual Superintendent’s 5K Challenge

(FNEI) will host its sixth annual Superintendent’s 5K Challenge Run/Walk virtually this year beginning on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to complete the 5K distance anywhere at any time from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021, through midnight of the following Saturday, March 13, 2021. The goal of the 5K Run/Walk is to raise awareness of the importance of fitness, health, and overall wellbeing.
Race options include a 5K run/walk or a 1-mile run for elementary and middle school students. A portion of event proceeds will benefit participating school teams. All proceeds raised by administrative offices and solo runners will fund District initiatives such as The Parent Academy, Cultural Passport, Project UP-START, paid student summer internships, and the purchase of mobile electronic devices with Internet access for students.
Participant fees for the virtual race are $30.00 for adults, plus a $2.74 registration fee, and $10.00 for students, plus a $1.58 registration fee. Registration fees will increase after March 4, 2021, so sign-up today.
