This month’s WHO WORE WHAT to WHERE issue celebrates the beginning of The Season of MIAMI. Fabulous parties & events with the haute crowd of fashion’s finest were everywhere, and SocialMiami’s Fashion Contributor, Stylist Elysze Held was on the scene.
To kick off the season, the Village of Merrick Park put its fashion foot forward in the name of charity with the highly coveted Fashionably Conscious Annual Sale Event–beloved by socialites, fashionistas and CEO’s, all who donate a few of their special(new or used) pieces to be scooped up at rock-bottom prices to benefit the Coconut Grove Cares’ The Barnyard Community Center.
And, who can we top this one: a rock & roll concert staged in the middle of a department store! For their CUSP Event, Neiman Marcus Merrick Park featured a high-wattage performance by singer ZZ Ward. ZZ brought her unique style, a juxtaposition of masculine and feminine panache topped off with her signature fedora! Onto The Perry Ellis Cubavera Concert at Arsht Center featuring a Fashion Show by Stephanie for C&C; the 2013 Women of Style reception at the SLS; Neiman Marcus Bal Harbour’s Art of Fashion Luncheon with hostess Amy Rosenberg; Pawpurrazzi cocktail event benefiting the Humane Society at Saks Fifth Avenue; Cottage Miami Opening to benefit PÉREZ ART MUSEUM and A Night on the RUNWADE for the Dwayne Wade Foundation’s celebrity driven uber-party, with MCs Louie Aguirre and Jill Martin.
