You will hear the stories of how this area, once strictly farmland, was transformed by the land boom of the 1920s and again by the hurricane of 1926. Learn how the architectural revolution of the 1930s defined this neighborhood as a lively vacation destination, only to be turned in to a retirement community in the 1950s and 60s, and back into the major entertainment destination that we see today.
