Twelve Good Men
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida held the luncheon to honor individuals for exemplary community service and philanthropy.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida held the 30th Annual Twelve Good Men Luncheon at the Loews Coral Gables to honor individuals for exemplary community service and philanthropy. The local tradition supports RMHC of South Florida, a home-away-from-home for over 350 families a year while their child receives life-saving medical care in area hospitals.
The charity’s iconic namesake, Ronald McDonald, celebrated with the 2023 honorees and husband and wife emcees Sam Brock, Miami-based correspondent for NBC News, and Gabriela Dellan, meteorologist for Telemundo. Some TGM alumni were also in attendance. Pete Diaz Productions provided music for the honorees’ traditional walk down the runway to cheers from the crowd. Young RMHC residents handed the honorees flowers.
Special thanks to Founding Co-Chairs Linda Levy Goldberg, James Murphy and Sonia Gibson and to this year’s event committee: Co-Chairs Robbie Elias and Danny Jelaca, and committee members Ana Veiga Milton, Alan Randolph, Brett Graff, David Guzman and John Grisham.

ABOUT RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES® of South Florida
In 1984, Ronald McDonald House Charities was established in memory of McDonald’s Founder Ray Croc. Today, each house is independently operated by a local board of trustees and is responsible for their own fundraising. Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida (RMHC South Florida), a non-profit, 501 (c) (3), serves 31 families at a time and has a waiting list. A campaign is underway to build a new house and expand capacity for more families. Some families stay for a week, while others stay for months, depending on the life-saving care that their child needs. For more information, visit www.rmhcsouthflorida.org. Follow RMHC on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
