Over 6000 guests from around the world gathered at Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for the museum’s signature art week celebration PAMM Presents. The evening featured a live performance by George Clinton, beloved musician, singer, bandleader, and record producer most known for his collective Parliament-Funkadelic, with a special appearance by singer-songwriter, rapper, and actress Janelle Monáe.
The party kicked off with a set by George Clinton. Throughout the evening, guests from the worlds of art, fashion, business, and philanthropy, including PAMM members and donors, enjoyed drinks, live music, immersive activations, and dancing under the stars. The festivities culminated with a performance by Clinton and surprise appearances by actress and singer Monáe, musician Nona Hendryx, and artist Mickalene Thomas. The night ended with live DJ sets from DJ DLuxe and CHARLIE SOUL CLAP.
Attendees also had the opportunity to view the museum’s current exhibitions which include  the newly opened Gary Simmons: Public Enemy presented by Citi, the most in-depth presentation of Simmons’s work to date, covering 30 years of the artist’s career and encompassing 75 sculptures, paintings, works on paper, and installations, as well as a number of large-scale wall drawings the artist created on site.
