Girls on Rolls: Krystyna Laukien

The founder and president of the Power of Goodness Foundation speaks to us in her own words.

Krystyna Laukien is the Founder and President of the Power of Goodness Foundation, which was created in 2022 after Ukraine was faced with war. The organization supports first responders and victims of adversities caused by natural disasters, wars, or human-made events. It works to provide timely and effective humanitarian aid, emotional solace, educational resources and medical assistance. Laukien has hosted at her home four fundraising events with sponsors including Rolls Royce and Neiman Marcus, with the money going toward creating support and joy of Christmas holidays for over 200 Ukrainian children in Miami and 500 in the Ukraine.
“When the war started, I called Anirays Camino and told her that I can’t just watch the news and cry,” remembers Laukien. “One more sad person in this world will not change the situation in life of those who are suffering.” Soon, the first fundraising event was held and the initiative of creating the “Miami Loves Ukraine Program,” began.  The fund has sent humanitarian and medical help, sponsored ambulance-cars serving as mini-clinics, supported rehabilitation centers, delivered food and meals and more.
“Together with our team, all our sponsors and supporters, we were able to help, support and save so many innocent lives,” says Laukien. “In my homeland country, my city Mariupol was destroyed to the ground … and I will never be able to show my daughter where her mother grew up.”
Laukien also this season hosted a spectacular Dolce & Gabbana event benefiting Angels of Humanity, an organization on which she serves as a committee member. She supports the Global Empowerment Mission, Little Lighthouse Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Chapman foundation.
Laukien holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics. She’s worked as Interior Designer, with her Miami Beach home serving as a recent overall architectural and interior design from scratch.  She speaks English, Ukrainian, Russian and French. She was born and raised in Mariupol, Ukraine.
