The ribbon cutting and augmented reality installation titled, The Water Below Us, was approved by the Coral Gables City Commission as part of the city’s Art in Public Places program and will feature a hanging cylindrical “well” adorned with illustrations by Miami artist, Nic Vasquez. Onlookers will be transported into the South Florida Wetlands Without Leaving Giralda Avenue.
