Comprised of four Americans from different cultural backgrounds, GRAMMY®-nominated American Patchwork Quartet (APQ) performs centuries-old American songs made new with creative arrangements connecting contemporary cultures and immigrant roots. Led by GRAMMY®-winning vocalist Falu, GRAMMY®-winning guitarist/vocalist Clay Ross, three-time GRAMMY®-winning drummer Clarence Penn, and acclaimed bassist Yasushi Nakamura. The band binds timeless American folk songs with jazz sophistication, country twang, West African hypnotics, and East Asian ornamentation. APQ’s sound is a masterful confluence of tradition and innovation, transcending culture, politics, and ideology. Note: All Patrons entering the facility require a ticket including infants. Outside food & beverage are not allowed into the venue. Strollers are not permitted inside the auditorium.
