The Winter Jewish Music Concert and Temple Israel of Greater Miami will present a concert honoring WJMC Artistic Director Alan Mason for his 25 years of service to Temple Israel and to the Jewish community. The concert will feature dozens of singers of Jewish music from around South Florida with a world premiere of a special work commissioned in honor of Mason, composed by Michael Ochs. Also, there will be a performance by the world famous Amernet String Quartet, and special guest Karina Zilberman, the Director of Jewish Family Life & Culture at New York’s 92nd Street Y and the creator of the famed Shababa program, will also appear. The evening will conclude with a gala dessert reception. Tickets are $36, and sponsorships are available.
