Zoo Miami Foundation’s Feast with the Beasts
More than $225,000 raised for education and conservation efforts
The more than 850 guests who attended Feast with the Beasts at Zoo Miami on March 10, 2017 dined on delectable bites from South Florida restaurants and establishments, enjoyed wild animal encounters, open bars from Bacardí, their largest ever Hookah Lounge, live entertainment and more. Guests came dressed in chic cocktail attire and together raised more than $225,000, benefiting Zoo Miami’s education and conservation efforts.
“Feast with the Beasts is a wonderful annual event for our supporters and community,” said Bill Moore, Zoo Miami Foundation (ZMF) President and CEO. “We are truly grateful to our sponsors, restaurants, volunteers and staff that donate their time, support and funds to make it possible.”
Guests indulged on tasty bites from 33 restaurants, including Bonefish Grill, Chef Adrianne’s, Devon Seafood & Steak, Kitchen 305, Misha’s Cupcakes, Shula’s 347, Texas de Brazil, and CrêpeMaker, among others. The night’s entertainment included salsa performances by Salsa Lovers, belly dancing by Mid East Performing Arts Academy, live painting by artist Amanda Valdes, a supreme Hookah Lounge by Alibaba Events, a silent auction, a special drawing to win a trip to New York City Fashion Week and much more!
