Camillus House Gala
The Hilton Miami Downtown played host to Camillus House’s 12th Annual “Hope for All” Gala. This spectacular event, themed “Guayaberas and Good Times,” was sold-out with over 1,100 individuals helping to raise over $1.9 million, making it the single most successful fundraiser held by Camillus House to benefit persons who are poor and homeless in our community.
Guests were treated to a lavish cocktail reception and dinner prepared by Executive Chef James Rogers. This year’s gala featured Laurie Jennings, co-anchor of WPLG Channel 10, as the evening’s mistress of ceremonies, along with dancing throughout the evening to the sounds of the Carlos Oliva Band.
The fabulously diverse live auction featured rare and vintage wines, exotic travel packages, world-class dining experiences, and a luxurious 7-night Bahamas/Caribbean cruise aboard a 157’ super yacht with lavish accommodations for five couples, complete with a personal chef and a handpicked crew of 10.
The Brothers of the Good Shepherd, Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and clients extend their heartfelt appreciation for the generosity and support of our sponsors as well as the individuals and companies who contributed to make our 12th Annual Gala a great success.
