The Edit, Episode 11
Lessons from Lucy
Dave Barry wrote Lessons From Lucy — a book about all he’s learned from his 11 year old rescue pup – and held his first signing with Friends of Miami Animals and Books & Books. The crowd came to Coral Gables Congregational Church to meet the literary legend famous for making us laugh out loud. Representing FoMA was animal activist Yolanda Berkowitz, who organized the animal adoption portion of the night, caravanning in an array of her furry canine friends in need of new families.
Maisonette Moves In
Model Karolina Kurkova hosted an intimate VIP dinner at Swan restaurant in the Miami Design District to celebrate the Miami activation of Maisonette, a children’s luxury marketplace. Kurkova, who is the co-founder of children’s wellness brand Gryph & IvyRose, held the event with Maisonette founders Sylvana Ward Durrett and Luisana Mendoza Roccia and filled the place with fashionable guests including Rachel Finger, Flavia Kelson, Cecilia de Sola, Jane Bloomingdale, Nancy McCormick, Natalie Gee, and Lindsey Shook. The next day, Maisonette showcased a few of its favorites during a fashion show at The Webster.
