SocialMiami’s Lauren Cohen talks with the Fantastic Four
If there’s one thing I took away from my time interviewing Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, and Jamie Bell, it’s that their friendship is the real deal. They may not have superpowers, but they have the chemistry and bond necessary to make the movie work in the first place. The movie I’m referring to is, of course, the new “Fantastic Four” reboot. Based on a wildly popular comic book series of the same name, this reboot comes ten years after the 2005 adaptation starring Jessica Alba and Chris Evans, which was a critical failure, due in no small part to the cheesy, comedic take on the comic book series.
LA Celebs Support Dance Education for Kids
The Dizzy Feet Foundation’s 5th annual Celebration of Dance Gala at LA’s Club Nokia brought out the stars! Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Christina Applegate, Jenna Elfman, Paula Abdul, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Billie Lourde, Joely Fisher, Lance Bass, Elizabeth Berkely, Tara Lipinski, Allison Holker, Rosalyn Sanchez, Eric Winter and Ben Vereen were among the celebrities who had on their dancing shoes.
They came to support the non-profit founded by Nigel Lythgoe (American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance) and director Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Rock of Ages). The organization sponsors, funds and supports access to and the quality of dance education programs that expose children in low-income areas to the lifelong benefits of dance education.
