The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science celebrates its opening year and new home, a world-class, state-of-the-art facility in Downtown Miami’s Museum Park.

A Celebration of Science, the museum’s grand opening fundraiser, will take place on May 6, 2017, at the new facility, just two days before opening its doors to the public. Hosted by the museum’s Board of Trustees, the benefit event is the museum’s most anticipated event to date and will support the museum’s exhibitions and programs.

Commemorating the anticipated opening of the new, state-of-the-art campus in Downtown Miami’s Museum Park, A Celebration of Science will bring together supporters and guests from around the world. More than 600 guests are expected to attend the event in honor of South Florida’s only planetarium, aquarium and science museum with a unique evening, including musical entertainment, dinner by Frost Science Executive Chef Tony Tehro of Food@Science and special activations around the entire museum. Guests will be one of the first to experience the museum’s multiple exhibitions and experiences.
