Aside from the nearly sold-out, spectacular opening night performance from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (AAADT), guests came and conquered the AAADT & Green Room Society (GRS) After-Party that immediately followed. Turning the Center’s Carnival Studio Theater into a late-night Miami club, the Adrienne Arsht Center hosted guests with complimentary cocktails by 42 Below Vodka and delicious appetizers by Barton G. Legendary DJ Brass King spun while the prestigious dance company’s members took “center” on the dance floor among the rest of the attendees. It was quite the event! Those in attendance included Judith Jamison, Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Company; M. John Richard, CEO and President of the Adrienne Arsht Center; Max Pierre co-chair of the Green Room Society and Rosie Herrera, Miami dancer/chorographer.
