American Heart Association’s 2015 Miami Heart & Stroke Ball
The American Heart Association held their annual Miami Heart & Stroke Ball on Saturday, May 16th at the Four Seasons Miami, 6:30pm – 11:00pm. The Miami Heart Ball is a prestigious black-tie gala that celebrates the organization’s mission and success in “building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.”
Raising just under one million dollars, the organization’s mission was celebrated and showcased among key community influencers in the social, medical, and business fields across South Florida.
Chairman of this year’s campaign was Dr. Pascal Goldschmidt, CEO of UHealth. In partnership with the Executive Leadership Cabinet and 2015 sponsors of the Miami Heart Ball, the American Heart Association can continue the fight against heart-and stroke-related illnesses. Legacy sponsors included: Shoma Group and Miguel “Mike” B. Fernandez and Family. Honorees of the evening were Maria L. Shojaee and Paul and Swanee DiMare.
