Amigos For Kids, the Miami nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse and strengthening families, celebrated another unforgettable edition of its beloved annual fundraiser, Amigos Night at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove. Proceeds from Amigos Night 2025 directly support the organization’s ongoing programs including after-school enrichment, parent education, and wraparound family support ensuring children in South Florida have the safety, stability, and opportunities they deserve.

The sold-out event brought together more than 1,200 guests, including Miami’s cultural tastemakers, elected officials, media personalities, and business leaders, all rallying to support Amigos For Kids’ mission.

Guests arrived to a lively black carpet and were welcomed into a stunning culinary pavilion featuring tastings from Miami’s top restaurants and chefs. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as Extasy, a local favorite, kept the crowd dancing late into the night, culminating in an unforgettable Hora Loca.

“Amigos Night is a reminder that when this community comes together, incredible things happen,” said Karina Pavone, President & CEO of Amigos For Kids. “The funds raised directly power our programs, from after-school enrichment to parent education and support for families in crisis. Every smile on that dance floor helps make Miami stronger for its children.”

Board Chair Yosbel Ibarra added, “Every dollar raised translates into tutoring hours, counseling sessions, and hope for children across Miami-Dade. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who showed up, in every sense, for our kids.”

About Amigos For Kids

Amigos For Kids is a Miami-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect and the empowerment of families through education, support, and community involvement. Founded in 1991, Amigos For Kids has served South Florida’s under-resourced children and families for over three decades, offering programs that strengthen families, promote positive childhood experiences, and ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Through initiatives like the Positive Parenting Program, Amigos Care, and after-school and summer programs like Amigos LEAD (Learning, Enrichment & Academic Development) and Project YES (Youth Engaged in Service), Amigos For Kids works tirelessly to provide families with the tools they need to thrive. The organization also coordinates annual community events such as the Back-to-School and Holiday Toy Drives, reaching thousands of children and families each year. With a focus on creating lasting positive change, Amigos For Kids serves as a trusted community partner, providing vital resources, education, and support to families in need across Miami-Dade County.

Amigos For Kids is committed to improving the lives of children and families by fostering a safe, supportive environment where every child can grow, learn, and succeed.
