Arlys Raymond Retires As Executive Director
Arlys W. Raymond has announced that she will retire from her position as Executive Director of the Bakehouse Art Complex (BAC) at the end of June 2013. The announcement comes after six years with the organization. Since 2007, Raymond has led the BAC through many of the most important changes in its 26-year history. She oversaw nearly $1 million dollars in capital improvements to the 80-year-old facility funded by prestigious foundation and government grants and she introduced a rigorous and professional jury system for applicants in order to elevate the profile of the organization.
