Arsht Families Imagination Ball

Arsht Center President & CEO John Richard with Arsht Families kids

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Arsht Families, a volunteer committee of parents committed to supporting children’s access to the performing arts at the Arsht Center, hosted the first ever ARSHT FAMILIES IMAGINATION BALL. The one-of-a-kind children’s gala featured arts activities, dancing, wild dessert displays and live performances by America’s Got Talent finalist David Garibaldi and His CMYKs, as well as the kids rock band LIVE! Modern School of Music.

Proceeds from the sold-out ARSHT FAMILIES IMAGINATION BALL support the Center’s Arts Education and Community Engagement programs, serving thousands of young people in Miami-Dade each season. Arsht Families mission is to ensure that all of Miami’s children have access to the live performing arts. The group is committed to creating and nurturing future arts philanthropists, theatergoers, music aficionados, and lovers of dance.

In attendance at the celebration were Ball co-chairs Shannon Signorello and Rebecca Whited, Arsht Families co-chair Patricia Andreu, Arsht Center president & CEO John Richard, and Arsht Center vice president of advancement and co-chair of Arsht Families Suzanna Valdez. Joining them were hundreds of business and community leaders including television personalities Judge Marilyn Milian and NBC6 anchor Pam Giganti.
