VIDEO: Opening night at Art Miami and Context
Tuesday of Miami Art Week featured the much anticipated VIP opening of Art Miami and Context. The fairs span over two vast tents in Midtown Miami and are connected by a central courtyard.
For the second year in a row, the opening night benefited Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Representing PAMM were museum director Thom Collins and philanthropists Jorge and Darlene Perez. With the museum’s opening taking place throughout the week, Collins remarked that Art Miami would most likely be the only fair that he would attend.

Social Styles: Art Basel – Part Three
Art Week Miami is the very definition of visual overload and it is not contained inside the walls of the fairs and galleries. The more is more vibrant art crowd is adding to the cool factor that is already Miami and Stylist Elysze Held has again captured the glorious spectacle that is Art Basel Style at NADA Miami Beach; The Webster Miami; Design District; Elle Décor Modern Life Concept House Opening Event benefiting Sylvester Cancer Center; Art for Healing event at Anima Domus to benefit Children’s Bereavement Center; Wallpaper Handmade Gallery and the Crown Jewel(Swarovski, that is)—at Maison Martin Margeila in collaboration with Atelier Swarovski.

The crazed, art induced social week is beginning to wind down, but not before Manny Hernandez made his Thursday night run.
