Tuesday night is perhaps the crowning of art week, as the fairs and museums crack open doors for only an invite-only crowd. It’s when the art world’s elite come out to view the works privately and amongst other collectors, curators and heavy hitters. Here’s where they might be…. Socialista Miami is having a cocktail preview at Cipriani on Brickell, and Art Basel’s Meridians Opening is by invitation only and Scope on Miami Beach is hosting Platinum Cardholders and Design Miami is having its Members Preview from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Inside there, Gemfields is partnering with artist Sebastien Leon, to experience the art of responsibly sourced Mozambican rubies and Zambian emeralds. In the morning the Rubell Museum is hosting a ultra-private VIP event and at night, Art Miami and CONTEXT will host it’s preview.
